Mori Taiga
I want to be a traveling ceramic artist.
I genuinely enjoy going to different places.
And through making Bizen ware, I like changing the way I create,
reconsidering what Bizen ware can be, and shifting into new
perspectives.
That, too, is a journey.
As the world changes day by day, I keep walking—so that I can leave
traces of a journey that is uniquely mine, living in the present.

My Definition of Bizen Ware
I define Bizen ware as pottery created in the Bizen region, fired at high temperatures of 1200–1300°C using high-quality clay and minerals sourced from the surrounding Bizen area of Okayama Prefecture.
